To be with You – lyrics and chords

In my head I call this the asthma song, as I have had with asthma on and off all my life, and I wrote it after my asthma got worse this summer. I wanted to worship through any worry I had about it but it turned out interesting for two reasons. Firstly when I write songs I just play my guitar and see what lyrics come out of my creativeness, so whatever comes out is a surprise to me (this might be quite normal but it seems like I am witness to what is going on as opposed to the words being a decisiveness on my part). Secondly my asthma is quite mild and is normally called exercise induced asthma brought pretty much only by jogging for a while. So the chorus, in the light of this is the perfect antidote for worry  :)

Note to asthma sufferers, this clearly is about worship and not about running around and making yourself ill (so please do not take it as me saying this is useful as a cure, as it is clearly not)

Here is a video of how to play the song

with every breath, I long for You
with every thought, I dream of You
with every heartbeat, reach out for You
with all I am, with all I am

I'm running
I'm running
I'm running
to be with You
